OKLAHOMA AT A GLANCE
Oklahoma has played three games since it saw Texas A&M last, winning at Oklahoma State and against No. 20 Iowa State, but falling at No. 1 Baylor. The Sooners have lost two of their last four games and the Aggies are the only team this year to beat OU on its home court. The team's other four losses have come on the road. In addition the Sooners are 0-3 against top 10 teams this season. Senior guard Danielle Robinson continues to lead Oklahoma with 19.5 points and 5.3 assists. Sophomore guard Whitney Hand (14.0 ppg) and freshman guard Aaryn Ellenberg (17.5 ppg) also average double figures, while sophomore center Joanna McFarland grabs a team-high 7.5 rebounds per game. The Sooners post the fifth-most 3-point field goals per game in the nation and Ellenberg ranks eighth individually in the same statistic. Head coach Sherri Coale is in her 15th season at Oklahoma and holds a record of 330-148 (.690).

LAST TIME OUT
Conference scoring leader Danielle Adams tallied 31 points, including the decisive free throws with 7.6 seconds left, and No. 5 Texas A&M won its 12th straight game by beating 13th-ranked Oklahoma 80-78 on Jan. 26. It was the second straight road win over a ranked foe for Texas A&M, which won for the first time ever at Iowa State on Saturday. Danielle Robinson led Oklahoma with 33 points and almost single-handedly fueled a comeback from a 15-point first-half deficit. But Robinson, an 87 percent free throw shooter, missed the front end of a one-and-one opportunity with 30.6 seconds left and her driving shot over Adams as time expired wasn't close. Texas A&M has won five of its last six games against Oklahoma, although the Aggies are only 3-16 all-time against the Sooners in Norman. Before Wednesday, the Aggies hadn't won at Lloyd Noble Center since 2007. Adams, the reigning conference player of the week, scored from all angles— layups, bank shots, medium-range jumpers and 3-pointers. But it was her poise at the line that proved decisive in the final seconds. With the score tied 78-all in the final minute, Oklahoma missed three chances to take the lead, as Robinson missed two driving layups, hitting nothing on the second try. But the Sooners got the basketball back both times before Adams fouled Robinson 25 feet from the basket. After Robinson missed, Sydney Colson missed on a driving layup attempt, but Adams rebounded and was fouled by Lyndsey Cloman, setting up the winning free throws. Tyra White added 14 points and Sydney Carter had 12 for the Aggies.

ADAMS BREAKS 1,000 CAREER POINTS
With just 13 of her game-high 26 points at Texas Tech, All-America candidate Danielle Adams scored 1,000 career points. She is the 22nd A&M player to reach the 1,000 mark and only the third all-time to have accomplished the feat in just two seasons. She currently boasts 1,013 career points and will pass both Aggie greats Jaynetta Saunders (1,024 from 1999-01) and Peggy Pope (1,010 in 1978-80) to tally the most points of any A&M women's basketball player in just two seasons.
BATTLE OF THE GUARDS
There's no question that some of the best point guards in the nation hail from the Big 12. Texas A&M currently ranks among the top 15 teams in the nation in assists per game (17.5) and in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.26) due to the floor leadership of its “Two Syds” in senior point guard Sydney Colson and junior guard Sydney Carter. Both players rank second and third in the league in assist-to-turnover ratio which places them among the top 15 NCAA leaders in the category – Colson (2.64) and Carter (2.27). Meanwhile, OU is lead by its floor general Danielle Robinson who is ranked in the top 35 nationally and fourth in the Big 12 in assists per game (5.3 avg).
FROM THE SIDELINES
• Texas A&M head coach Gary Blair is 10-12 lifetime versus Oklahoma in his 26 years as a Division I head coach. Eight of his 10 career victories against the Sooners have come during his time in Aggieland.
• The A&M and OU series has developed into a heated rivalry between two Big 12 powerhouses who have laid claim to a combined seven Big 12 trophies since 2006 and four of the last five consecutive postseason tournament titles. The Aggies won the regular-season title in 2007 and postseason tournament titles in 2008 and 2010. In fact, OU and A&M rank No. 1 and No. 2 for the most regular-season Big 12 games won in the last five-year period. The Sooners lead with 57 victories followed by the Aggies (and Baylor) with 52 victories since the 2006-07 campaign.
