COLLEGE STATION, Texas - After kicking off Big 12 Conference play by winning a road series over the weekend at No. 2 Oklahoma, the No. 6 Texas A&M baseball team returns to the friendly confines of Olsen Field Tuesday to face Stephen F. Austin at 6:35 p.m.

The Lumberjacks come to Aggieland on a roll, riding an 11-game winning streak and a 6-0 start in Southland Conference play. Texas A&M, meanwhile, jumped into the top 10 of all four major college baseball polls  this week and brings a 15-5 overall record into Tuesday's contest.

A&M/SFA SERIES NOTABLES
Texas A&M and Stephen F. Austin have met 19 times on the baseball diamond with the Aggies earning victories in 18 of the contests. However, the last meeting between the schools came on Feb. 24 of last season with the Lumberjacks earning a 7-6 win at Olsen Field.

UP NEXT
The Aggies jump back into Big 12 Conference play this weekend when they host Kansas in a three-game series at Olsen Field. The Aggies and Jayhawks, who both own 2-1 league records this spring, split a series in Lawrence last season with each team claiming a win and the final game ending in a tie.

NOTES AND NOTABLES
• Texas A&M has lost five games this season with four of the setbacks being of the one-run variety. Through the season's first 20 games, the Aggies have held opponent to two runs or less 14 times.
• Junior pitcher Ross Stripling was named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week Monday. For the week he was 2-0 with just two runs allowed in 13 innings of work, 12 strikeouts and a 1.38 ERA. This spring, Stripling owns a 4-1 season record with a 0.96 ERA and leads Texas A&M in victories, appearances (10) and saves (3).
