Both products of Kansas City, Mo., Adams is now a two-time finalist and just a year ago was a State Farm Coaches' All-America Team Honorable Mention, while White received the honor the first time in her career. The two Aggies are just the third and fourth A&M players to be named finalists for the State Farm (formerly Kodak) All-America Team next to Lisa Branch in 1996 and Takia Starks in 2008.

The 40 finalists, who are voted upon by WBCA-member coaches in each of the eight WBCA geographical regions, are now in the running for selection to the 10-member State Farm Coaches' All-America Team which will be announced on Saturday, April 2, in Indianapolis during the WBCA National Convention, which is being held in conjunction with the 2011 NCAA® Women's Final Four.

Adams, a 6-foot-1 senior forward/center was recently named one of four players on the final ballot for the Naismith Trophy, which will also be announced in Indianapolis. She is also the first Aggie player to be selected to the John R. Wooden Award National Ballot, which will be revealed the week of the "Elite Eight" round during the NCAA Tournament. She leads the Big 12 in scoring (22.7 ppg), is second in rebounding (8.6 rpg) and has already cemented herself as one of A&M's all-time greats with several single game, single season and career records.

White, a six-foot junior guard, recently joined the list of one of A&M's elite as she passed 1,000 career points in the Aggies' NCAA Second Round win over Rutgers on Tuesday. She was the 23rd A&M player to reach this achievement. White has started every game this season and 54 straight the past two years. She holds the team's best 3-point and overall field goal percentages and is A&M's second-leading scorer averaging 13.7 points per game.

Adams, White and the rest of the second-seeded Aggies make their fourth NCAA Sweet 16 appearance on Sunday when they face six-seeded Georgia at 3:34 p.m. (CT) at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
