COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Registration is now open for the annual Mark Turgeon Basketball Camp, to be held this summer on the Texas A&M campus.
Position skills and team play will be taught with an emphasis on individual improvement in the basketball fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing and defense. Drills and competitions will be taught and led by Texas A&M players and coaches, as well as high school and college coaches from around the state of Texas.
The camp offers three individual camp sessions throughout the summer, on June 5-8, June 26-29 and July 24-27, and is designed for young men entering the fourth through 12th grades who are looking to improve their overall game. Boys as young as eight may also register, but must sign up for the day camp option.
Cost is $340 per session for day campers and $420 for overnight campers. A high school team camp is also available from June 24-26, at a cost of $150 per player.
