2011 Big 12 Tennis Championship Bracket *CORRECTED* 
The Big 12 Conference has announced the pairings for the 2011 Big 12 Tennis Championships to be held at the Baylor Tennis Center in Waco, Texas. Women's action begins on Thursday, April 28 while the men get underway on Friday, April 29. Both Championships conclude on Sunday, May 1.
Host Baylor earned the top seed in both brackets for the sixth time overall. The Bears also won regular-season crowns for the men and the women in 2009, 2007-'05 and 2003. BU's men's team, who recorded an overall record of 19-3, went undefeated in conference play with a 6-0 mark, clinching its ninth regular season title in the last 10 seasons. The Lady Bears earned their seventh-consecutive regular season title with a 10-1 league mark in the Big 12 and a 22-3 overall record.
Texas A&M earned the two seed while Oklahoma and defending champion Texas captured the third and fourth seeds, respectively. TAMU will play seventh-seeded Oklahoma State, while fifth-seeded Texas Tech tussles with UT and sixth-seeded Nebraska plays OU.
Joining Baylor with first-round byes in the women's bracket are second-seeded Texas, third-seeded Oklahoma and fourth-seeded Texas A&M.
The Baylor men have been crowned postseason champions on seven occasions (2002-'05 and 2007-'09) with Texas earning four championship titles (1997, `99, `06, `10) and Texas A&M three.
For the women, Texas has notched seven postseason titles (1997-2002, 2005), Baylor five (2006-'10) and Oklahoma State (2003) and Texas A&M (2004) one apiece.
Texas (1997, `99) and Baylor (2007-'09) have captured the men's and women's championship crowns in the same season.
The winners of the Big 12 Championship punch automatic tickets to the NCAA Championships with first and second rounds taking place May 13-15 at various campus locations.
