2011 Aggie Football Season Ticket Options
.tableheaders {color: #ffffff; font-weight: bold;} COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M Director of Athletics Bill Byrne and the Big 12 Conference announced the 2011 Aggie football schedule today.

"I am very pleased we are able to announce our 2011 football schedule," Director of Athletics Bill Byrne said. "With the change to a round-robin schedule and some possible TV windows, it has taken a little longer than normal but I appreciate the Big 12 Office and our television partners working so diligently on our behalf."

In nonconference play, the Aggies will face SMU on Labor Day weekend with the game moving to Sunday evening, Sept. 4, to be televised by FSN. Idaho comes to Kyle Field on Sept. 17. After the Big 12 home opener against Oklahoma State on Sept. 24, the final non-conference game is the neutral site contest against Arkansas which will be played Oct. 1 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

After the first three weeks of the season (thru the weekend of Sept. 17), the Big 12 TV partners will have the opportunity to announce either a 12-day or six-day advance notification on televised games. In the event an Aggie home game is not televised, the September games will kick at 6 p.m. and the games in October and November will kick at 2:30 p.m.

The league slate calls for a round robin schedule with the five home games against Oklahoma State, Baylor, Missouri, Kansas and Texas with four road contests at Texas Tech, Iowa State, Oklahoma and Kansas State.

Texas A&M is coming off of a 9-4 record and an AT&T Cotton Bowl berth. The Aggies finished 6-2 in league play tying for the Big 12 South title and along the way defeated Oklahoma, Nebraska and Texas in the month of November.
