COLLEGE STATION, Texas - A&M has had a strong month of April, winning the Aggie Invitational by 18 strokes over a strong field and finishing second earlier this week at the Big 12 Championship in Kansas.
The Aggies, who have finished fifth or better in every tournament this season, are also ranked sixth in the latest edition of the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings.
Texas A&M now awaits its NCAA fate, as selections for the regional round will be made on Monday, May 9. The Aggies expect an at-large bid to the field, which would be their fourth in a row and seventh in the last eight seasons.
