Texas A&M soccer signees Meghan Streight, Allie Bailey and Kelley Monogue were named to the ESPN RISE Winter All-America Team, the organization recently announced.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M soccer signees Meghan Streight, Allie Bailey and Kelley Monogue were named to the ESPN RISE Winter All-America Team, the organization recently announced.

"We are looking forward to the 2011 season with the talented new players on the A&M soccer team," head coach G Guerrieri said. "Our signees are leaders on-and-off of the field all across the nation, and I am extremely proud of them. Their talent will make the Aggies an even bigger force in the soccer world."

Streight received first team accolades while Bailey and Monogue were named to the second and third teams, respectively. The Winter All-America team was compiled based on the players' performance on high school teams, coaching and media recommendations and recruiting details.

From McKinney, Texas, Streight and Monogue guided their McKinney Boyd High School team to its second-straight Texas UIL State Championship. The duo also helped the school win its first-ever state title as freshmen in 2008. Streight was additionally tabbed the 2011 Gatorade Texas Girls Soccer Player of the Year in May.

Bailey, a San Diego, Calif., native, aided the La Jolla Torrey Pines High School team in winning a 2011 California State Championship. This is her second ESPN RISE All-American honor, as she was also named to the team in 2009.

A&M placed more recruits on the list than all other Big 12 schools combined. Texas was the only other team with a name on the roster, with one recruit earning third-team honors.

Streight, Bailey and Monogue will join the 2011 Aggie soccer squad for their collegiate debut against Fresno State on Aug. 19 at the Aggie Soccer Stadium. For more information on Texas A&M soccer, log on to AggieAthletics.com.
