COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M soccer's final home match of the regular season, against Oklahoma State on Oct. 23, is set to be broadcast by ESPNU, the network announced Tuesday.

The match, slated for a 3 p.m. start, will feature the reigning Big 12 Regular-Season Champion Aggies and the Big 12 Tournament Champion Cowgirls.

"This will be a cool event for our sport and especially for our great Aggie soccer fans," head coach G Guerrieri said. "The A&M-OSU match is a marquee matchup for Big 12 soccer to be seen on the national stage. I love how committed the ESPN family of networks has been investing in the growth of soccer in America, and I look forward to exposing our program on the ESPNU platform."

The teams last met in the Aggies' final home match of the 2010 season, resulting in a 1-0 victory for A&M and guaranteeing the Aggies a share of the Big 12 title. Then-senior Rachel Shipley scored the game winner on a penalty kick in the 20th minute.

Both teams finished the season in the NCAA Tournament. The Aggies earned their 16th-consecutive postseason berth, defeating North Dakota State before falling to Minnesota in the NCAA second round. OSU had a conference season-best Elite Eight finish, where they lost to eventual champion Notre Dame.

"Last year when we beat OSU to win the Big 12 regular season championship, both teams were ranked among the top six in national rankings," Guerrieri said. "I think both sides will be very strong again this year."

ESPNU will also broadcast the Big 12 match between Missouri and Oklahoma in Norman, Okla., on Oct. 16 at 1 p.m.

The Big 12 Champion Aggies kick off the 2011 season at home against Fresno State on Aug. 19. The match is set for a 6:30 p.m. start at the Aggie Soccer Stadium. For more information on Texas A&M soccer, log on to AggieAthletics.com.
