ORLANDO, Fla. - The 11th-ranked Texas A&M soccer team will play Central Florida in an exhibition match Saturday at 6 p.m. CST at the newly renovated UCF Soccer Stadium.

The Aggies, who return seven starters from last year's squad and add 11 newcomers, were picked to finish second in the Big 12 Soccer Preseason Poll. The team is led by four seniors including preseason All-Big 12 selection Merritt Mathias and 2010 NSCAA All-American Bri Young.

The Knights and Aggies both ended the 2010 season in the NCAA second round with identical 15-5-3 records. A&M won its 11th Big 12 Championship last season, while USF is picked to win Conference USA in 2011.

Returning this season from the Knights' 2010 squad are 23 letterwinners, including All-C-USA First Team and NSCAA All-Central Region Second Team selection Aline Reis. Reis is joined by fellow seniors Katie Jackson, who had 19 points on six goals and seven assists, and Stacie Hubbard, who led the UCF defense to eight shutouts. Junior Tishia Jewell was tabbed the C-USA Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and was placed on the NSCAA All-Central Region First Team.
