“Kat's been playing great all summer,” Aggie head coach Trelle McCombs said. “She is working hard as she always does. Kat really enjoys the team aspect of the World University Games and I know she will thrive in that environment and play great for her team. This competition will get her ready for the upcoming fall season.”
Ruzickova had a remarkable first season in the maroon and white as posted a runner-up finish at the Big 12 Championships and a tie for sixth at the NCAA Championships. She also set the freshman school record with a 73.12 stroke average, which was the fourth-best ever among any classification.
