COLLEGE STATION, Texas—The nine-time national champion Texas A&M equestrian team will hold its third annual “Mane Event” fundraiser dinner and silent auction on Friday, Sept. 16 at the Brazos County Expo Complex, in advance of the A&M vs. Idaho football game that weekend.
The program gets underway at 6 p.m. at the Expo Complex with cocktails, followed by dinner and a concert featuring Grammy award-winning artist Linda Davis. Live and silent auctions, dancing and mechanical bull rides will begin at 8:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $50 apiece, while 8-person tables are available for $350. Premium tables are priced at $800. Dress is business casual and country chic. Dave South, “The Voice of the Aggies”, will emcee the live auction.
The Aggies will unofficially start their season the following morning with the Maroon and White Scrimmage, set for 9 a.m. The football game will kick at 6 p.m. Saturday evening at Kyle Field.
