COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Coming off of a record-setting year and a second straight Top 10 finish, the Texas A&M men's tennis team opens the fall season with four players competing in the Midland Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational in Midland, Texas.
"The guys are back at school and ready to compete," Aggie head coach Steve Denton said. "Bob (McKinley) does a great job of setting up our schedule and getting all of guys work to help them improve their game. This will be a good start especially for our young guys."
Junior Niall Angus, from London, England, is the No. 6 seed in the men's singles and will receive a bye in the opening round. Also receiving a bye in the opening round is freshman Jordan Szabo (ZAY-bo) from Bayswater, Victoria, Australia. Szabo enrolled at Texas A&M in the spring and was redshirted. This will mark his first collegiate action as an Aggie.
