FanCam Coming To Kyle Field

This high-definition image will capture Kyle Field in its entirety, and the image takes between 5-7 minutes to shoot.

COLLEGE STATION, TX - An overflow crowd of Texas A&M fans will have a chance to prove they were present at this Saturday's game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys when the 12th Man Foundation FanCam comes to Kyle Field.

Fans will need to be in their seats 20 minutes prior to kickoff, because at that time an ultra-high-definition, five billion pixels, 360-degree image will be taken from the 50 yard line.

This high-definition image will capture Kyle Field in its entirety, and the image takes between 5-7 minutes to shoot.  Fans will be able to "step inside" the 360 gigapixel image and look around, as if they were standing on the field for a frozen moment of time.

The resolution of five billion pixels is so high that fans will be able to zoom in to find them or friends, "tag" themselves in the photo, and share via email, Facebook and Twitter.  Fans can even cruise around the stadium to see who else was part of the conference home opener.

Fans can follow updates on www.12thmanfoundation.com   and www.aggieathletics.com and the official Facebook page, www.facebook.com/12thMF and will be notified on those sites once the FanCam is available for "tagging" on Sunday, Sept 25.
