The match, originally slated for a 6:30 p.m. first serve, was changed to avoid a conflict with a women's basketball home game against Lamar that same day. The exact tip time of the basketball game will be determined once the kickoff time is set for the Aggies' football game at Kansas State the same day.
The Aggie volleyball team (10-2) concludes non-conference play tonight at 6:30 p.m. against Houston Baptist at Reed Arena. Several special promotions will be on tap as the Aggies play their first official home match since before classes began. The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is hosting its 12th annual "Aggies CAN" food drive, benefitting the Brazos Valley Food Bank. Anyone bringing a canned food item to the match will receive free admission.
In addition, it will be Aggie Ring Night, and anyone showing an Aggie Ring from any class year will be admitted free.
Texas A&M opens Big 12 Conference play Saturday against Missouri at 2 p.m. at the Hearnes Center in Columbia, Mo. The Aggies then play their first home conference match of the season against Baylor on Wednesday, Sept. 28. First serve against the Bears is at 6:30 p.m. and it will be Fish Camp Night at Reed Arena. Freshmen who wear their 2011 Texas A&M Fish Camp T-shirt will be admitted free.
