•    WR Ryan Swope posted 105 yards on seven catches, which marked his second 100-yard receiving games in 2011 and the fifth of his career.
•    The Aggie offensive front gave up their first two sacks of the season, while the defense posted three sacks of OSU QB Brandon Weeden. The A&M defense came into the game ranked No. 1 nationally in sacks/game at 5.5 per contest.
•    Coming into 2011, OLB Sean Porter had posted 1.5 sacks in 23 games. He had two sacks against OSU to raise his season total to a team-best 3.5.
•    After being turnover-free in the season-opener, A&M has had six turnovers in the last two games while gaining just one takeaway.
•    RB Cyrus Gray rushed for 35 yards on 13 carries, halting his nine-game streak of 100-yard rushing games.
•    QB Ryan Tannehill had his second straight 300-yard passing game, and the third of his career.
•    The last three OSU-A&M games have been decided by just nine total points.
•    The loss marks OSU's first-ever four-game winning streak in the series, and the first time the Cowboys have ever beaten A&M in consecutive games at Kyle Field.
•    WR Jeff Fuller's first catch of the game was a 17-yard TD connection with QB Ryan Tannehill. Building on his own school record, his first TD catch of 2011 was the 29th of his career. It also extended his school record streak of consecutive games with at least one catch to 36, which is every game of his career. Fuller added his 30th career TD catch late in the fourth quarter.
•    PK Randy Bullock became the seventh Aggie placekicker with 40 or more career field goals with his first three-pointer of the game. Â
•    QB Ryan Tannehill's 65-yard touchdown run was a career long (previous long was 48 vs. OU in 2011), and it was also A&M's longest play from scrimmage in 2011 (longest by the Aggies since Cyrus Gray's 84-yard romp vs. Texas last year).
•    Tannehill's run culminated A&M's first drive of the game with a touchdown. It was the second time A&M has scored on its initial offensive drive of the season.
•    Today's crowd of 87,358 was an over-capacity sellout (Kyle Field capacity 83,002). It was the fourth-largest crowd in school history. It marked the Aggies' third-straight sellout to open 2011, which has never happened before. A&M's streak of sellouts stands at four, dating back to last year's record crowd of 90,079 at the Nebraska game.
•    It was also A&M's seventh straight home game with a 80,000-plus crowd, which is a record.
