COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Five members of the Texas A&M soccer team were named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Big 12 Top 20 Player Rankings, the publication recently announced.
Senior Merritt Mathias (Birmingham, Ala.) led the team with a No. 2 ranking. No. 4 Kelley Monogue (McKinney, Texas), No. 7 Rachel Lenz (Round Rock, Texas) and No. 9 Shea Groom (Liberty, Mo.) rounded out A&M's top-10 selections, while freshman Annie Kunz (Golden, Colo.) completed the list of Aggies at No. 14.
A&M is one of two schools in the conference with five players on the list. Oklahoma State secured the No. 1 spot, along with four others down the list.
The 13th-ranked Aggies lead the league in conference games this season with a perfect 2-0 record. This weekend the team will take to the road and play Kansas and Missouri in a pair of Big 12 matches.
