COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M soccer junior Nora Skelton was named the SoccerSavings.com/Dallas Soccer News Player of the Week, the organization announced.
From Austin, Texas, Skelton netted three goals and assisted one for the Aggies as the team went 2-0 against Iowa State and Loyola-Chicago last weekend.
The junior scored the game winner against Iowa State as A&M pushed ahead to 2-0 in the Big 12 with the 3-1 victory. On the way to a 5-0 win over Loyola-Chicago, Skelton scored two goals and contributed an assist, totaling seven points on the weekend.
This is the forward's first honor by Dallas Soccer News. Skelton was also named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week this week.
