Texas A&M junior Christine Michael was named the Big 12's Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
Michael, from Beaumont West Brook High School, rumbled to a career-best statistical day with 230 yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries. Michael's 230 yards tied for the third-highest rushing output in school history, and were the most by an Aggie since 1990 when Darren "Tank" Lewis gained 232 yards on 34 carries against Texas Tech.
