Monogue Nets Third Big 12 Weekly Honor

Texas A&M soccer freshman Kelley Monogue was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week for the third time in four weeks, the conference office announced today.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M soccer freshman Kelley Monogue was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week for the third time in four weeks, the conference office announced today.

The McKinney, Texas, native scored two goals, including the game winner, in the Aggies' 6-1 victory over Drake on Friday. Monogue also contributed an assist for five total points on the match. The game marked the forward's fifth multiple-goal match on the season.

This is Monogue's third Big 12 Newcomer of the Week award in four weeks, including the second consecutive. The freshman owns 33 points and 13 goals on the season, topping the league in each category.
