COLLEGE STATION, Texas - All Texas A&M students will receive FREE admission to the Aggie soccer match this Sunday.
The game against No. 2 Oklahoma State is set for a 3 p.m. kickoff at Ellis Field and will be broadcast on ESPNU. Students are encouraged to "Wear White - Pack the House" to fill the stadium with the Spirit of Aggieland. Each student should also bring a valid Texas A&M student ID.
Last season the Aggies and Cowgirls met in College Station with No. 6 and No. 5 national rankings, respectively. The match ended with a 1-0 Texas A&M victory, guaranteeing the Aggies a share of the Big 12 title. A tie with Texas the next weekend clinched sole possession of the trophy for A&M.
OSU comes to Aggieland with a No. 2 national ranking and the top spot in Big 12 standings with 13 points. The Aggies are third in the Big 12, just one point behind the Cowgirls.
Sunday's match will be broadcast on ESPNU, AggieAthletics.com and 95.1-3, making it available worldwide on any smartphone or HD radio. The Aggies host Oklahoma tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Ellis Field. The four Texas A&M soccer seniors - Merritt Mathias, Bri Young, Rachael Balaguer and Megan Majewski - will be recognized on the field prior to kickoff as part of the Senior Night festivities. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to watch the Senior Night ceremony.
