COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS - The defending national champion Texas A&M women's basketball team steps on the court for the first time Friday evening for the annual Maroon and White Game at Reed Arena.
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and admission is free to the public.
The game will feature five eight-minute periods, with two played against the men's practice players. Players and coaches will be available for autographs and photos immediate following the conclusion of the game. Limited edition national championship posters will be available at that time. Doors to Reed Arena open at 6 p.m.
The Aggies were picked to finish second in the Big 12 Conference and return three starters and 10 letterwinners from its 33-5, national championship squad. A&M hosts Oklahoma City for an exhibition game on Nov. 6 at 2 p.m. before its season home opener against Lamar on Nov. 12.
