Earle shared rider of the month honors over fences, while Nowacek (noh-WAH-chek) took home the accolades in horsemanship for the second straight month.
Earle (Fallbrook, Calif.) was undefeated in the month of November, earning three wins with two coming on the road. She averaged a score of 83.7 and beat her opponent by an average of 19.4 points. The senior began the month with an 8-point win against Oklahoma State (Nov. 5), then topped her opponent at K-State (Nov. 11) by a score of 85-40 and closed out the month with a 79-point ride and a win at Baylor (Nov. 18). Earle leads the Aggie fences riders this year in wins (5) and winning percentage (.833).
Nowacek (San Antonio) stayed perfect on the season with three wins in the month of November, two coming on the road. She averaged a score of 75 on the month. The junior scored a 79 on ride against Oklahoma State (Nov. 5), the highest score of the season among A&M western riders and one of the highest in school history. She picked up a 2.5-point win at Kansas State (Nov. 11) and a 3-point victory at Baylor (Nov. 18). Overall, she is 8-0 on the year and has taken home five MVP awards, both team highs.
Texas A&M went 7-1 in the fall and is ranked second nationally. The Aggies will resume their season in February.
