COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS - The seventh-ranked and defending national champion Texas A&M women's basketball team hosts a free youth basketball clinic on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Cox McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball practice courts.
The free youth clinic will be taught by the women's basketball coaching staff as well as current Aggie players. Girls, grades eighth and under, and boys, grades sixth and under, and with all levels of basketball experience are invited to attend the event.
The clinic will cover all phases of basketball for the beginner to the experienced and includes drill work, highlight film and an autograph session with the women's basketball players at the end of the clinic.
Bleacher seating will be available to parents during the clinic. In addition, a breakfast snack is included for all youth and basketballs will be provided. Participants must bring their own water.
The Aggies travel to TCU on Sunday for a game that is televised nationally at 2 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network.
