The Texas A&M men's swimming and diving team stands in fifth place with 79 points after day one of the Texas Hall of Fame Invitational in Austin, Texas.
The Aggies trail host Texas (333), Arizona (315), the University of Southern California (257) and the University of California- Santa Barbara (94).
Senior swimmer Boris Loncaric was the lone Aggie to break into the Top-8 in the first day of finals, posting an NCAA "B" cut time of 48.32 in the 100-yard butterfly.
The Aggies took seventh overall in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of an NCAA "B" cut time of 1:21.39. Aggie swimmers sophomore Kyle Troskot, junior John Dalton, senior Boris Loncaric and sophomore Henrik Lindau made up the four-man squad.
The Aggies will take the pool again tomorrow in the second day of the invite.
