AUSTIN, Texas— Texas A&M senior Janie Potvin geared up for the upcoming Canadian Winter Diving Championships with a school record effort on the platform at the Texas Invitational on Saturday at the Jamail-Texas Swim Center.

A three-time All-American, Potvin (Broussard, Quebec, Canada) broke her own school record with a score of 334.80 while winning the platform dive in Austin. Potvin set the old school record of 333.65 while winning the Big 12 crown in the event in 2010.

Potvin will compete in the Canadian Nationals and World Cup Trials Dec. 15-18 in Victoria, British Columbia.
