CREDENTIALS
Requests: Media desiring credentials to cover games, regardless of which teams are competing at the site, must apply online at NCAA.com/media. Each participating institution's sports information contact will direct team media to apply for credentials via the online credential system as well. The online site provides information for reservations at the media headquarters hotel and parking passes. Applying media representatives will be notified via e-mail in regard to the confirmation or denial of their application.
DISTRIBUTION: Credentials will not be mailed. Recipients must present a driver's license, passport or government-issued photo ID to pick up credentials. A sign-in sheet for individuals to confirm receipt of credentials will be required. Credentials will be issued according to the following schedule:

Media representatives desiring accommodations at the headquarters hotel are advised that the hotel requires a two-night minimum stay (first practice night and the night of the first games).
Media Buffet: Complimentary media buffets, for credentialed individuals only, will be available. On the first practice day from noon to 1:30 p.m. and on first- and second-round game days beginning two hours prior to tip-off. Beverages and snacks will also be provided on a limited basis.
Media Parking: Media members must request parking passes through the online credential system. Parking passes, if requested and approved, will be provided at credential distribution.
Media Shuttle: A media shuttle WILL NOT be available
Media Workroom: A workroom will be provided for credentialed media with the following hours of operation:

ACCESS INFORMATION
Locker Rooms: Game Days - The locker rooms will be open to the media for a maximum of 30 minutes after the cooling-off period ends. Practice Days - Student athletes who are not in the interview room, shall be available to the media in the locker room area during the time the coach and selected student-athletes are participating in the news conference.
News Conferences: The head coach and a minimum of two first-team players will participate in the scheduled news conferences. No more than three players will attend.

Pool Reporter: A pool reporter has been identified by the host media coordinator. The name of the individual will be provided on the media seating chart and on the starting lineup sheet that will be distributed before each game. When a game includes a potential fighting situation that results in a technical foul and/or ejection of a participant, a rules interpretation is requested or there is a clock or timing issue, the pool reporter will be allowed to accompany the women's basketball committee representative to the officials' locker room to receive an interpretation. All media questions in this regard should be directed to the pool reporter. The host media coordinator will accompany the pool reporter and provide a written statement to the media following the session.
Satellite Truck Parking: Satellite truck parking will be available. Please contact the host media coordinator for full details.
Satellite Uplinks: Please note that satellite uplink services will not be provided at any of the first- and second-round sites during the 2012 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship. If you wish to obtain news conference footage from any of these sites, please plan accordingly to accomplish on site, or arrange for another credentialed media agency to provide this footage for you. Satellite uplink service will resume at all regional sites and at the 2012 Women's Final Four in Denver.
Telecommunications: Complimentary wireless services and access codes will be provided to all credentialed individuals. Media, including originating radio networks, may order individual telephone and high-speed data services, at their own expense, by contacting the host media coordinator.
Services: Runners will distribute play-by-play, halftime and final box scores to the media at courtside and in the media workroom. Typed quotes will be distributed to the media immediately following each news conference. Updated team notes (e.g., team notes, tournament notes/records) will also be distributed to the media preceding the next scheduled news conference. Media are asked to provide their facsimile and/or e-mail postgame services requests on a sign-up list that is posted in the media workroom.

Each team will be provided 90 minutes of practice time the day prior to the first competition at the site. The court will be open to members of the media for the first 15 minutes of practice after which the court will be cleared and practice closed. Television camera operators may videotape practice from the baseline, behind the courtside media area or from the public seating area during the first 15 minutes.
