
Ruzickova Takes Silver at World University

SHENZHEN, China --- Texas A&M sophomore Katerina Ruzickova charged with the low round of the final round to grab the silver medal in women's golf at the 2011 World University Games.
Ruzickova, representing the Czech Republic, made a charge at eventual champion Tzuchi Lin of Chinese Taipei with a 4-under 68, but she fell one shot short of the gold medalist. For the tournament, Ruzickova was 7-under par with rounds of 72-68-73-68 =281. Min Jeong Ko of Korea took the bronze medal.
In the team competition, Ruzickova's Czech Republic squad finished sixth with a four-round score of 586 behind Chinese Taipei, China, United States, Korea and Spain.
