COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Bryan Broadcasting announced today that every game of the 2012 Texas A&M softball season will be carried on The Zone.

Each matchup can also be heard on AggieAthletics.com, where live video for many games will also be offered.
"Having the games on The Zone1150 has been a pleasure these last five years," Bryan Broadcasting General Manager Ben Downs said. "As we start the sixth year of play-by-play we're just as excited as we were on year one. Aggie Softball is a high-quality product that attracts many listeners to the games, here and far afield. Six years is a long time to play for the same team but when the team is Aggie Softball, we're glad to be there again."
Featured in The Zone's broadcast schedule are a dozen Big 12 games, including the entire Oklahoma State (March 30-April 1) and Texas (April 26, 28-29) series. Conference matchups vs. Iowa State (April 7), Baylor (April 10, 24), Oklahoma (April 15), Texas Tech (April 17) and Kansas (May 6) will also be broadcast on 1150 AM.
Six games throughout the Aggies' nonconference schedule will be aired on the station, beginning with A&M's game vs. Northwestern at the Kajikawa Classic on Feb. 12. Home games vs. Tulsa (Feb. 19), Houston (March 3), Nebraska (March 3) and Liberty (March 10) and game against Pacific in the Cathedral City Classic (Feb. 25) will also be featured.
The Zone's program director, Louie Belina, joins the Aggies again this season as the play-by-play announcer when the team is on the road. Director of Softball Operations Stephen Grove will provide color commentary at out-of-town games. Tim Schnettler will bring fans the action from the Aggie Softball Complex while David Batson will add commentary at home games.
