The Aggies are coming off a tough 53-57 loss at Oklahoma State, while the Cyclones look for their third straight Big 12 Conference win. INSIDE THE SERIES

IOWA STATE REWIND

  • Adaora Elonu scored 14 points and No. 12/10 Texas A&M kept Iowa State winless in the Big 12 with a 59-33 victory. The defending national champions harassed the Cyclones with a physical, aggressive defense in bouncing back from Wednesday night's home loss to unranked Texas. The 33 points matched the fewest Iowa State has scored in a game in coach Bill Fennelly's 17 seasons. BLAIR REACHES 200-WIN MILESTONE

  • Gary Blair recently reached his 600th career win as a Division I head coach and on Jan. 18, he achieved another coaching milestone with his 200th victory as head coach of the Fightin' Texas Aggies.
  • Blair is already the all-time winningest coach in program history with 201 wins and a .708 winning percentage (201-84). He surpassed former head coach Lynn Hickey, who compiled 154 career victories from 1984-1994, with an 84-53 win over Portland State in the NCAA First Round on March 20, 2010 in Seattle, Wash.
