Five Sign A&M Soccer NLIs
"It is great to have this talented group of soccer players signed to play at Texas A&M
in 2012," Head coach G Guerrieri said. "All of our coaches are excited about the great
skills and potential each of these five players brings to the Aggie soccer program.
Even though this class is only half the number of our 2011 class, we're hopeful that it
can be just as impactful." Read more...

| Britt Blackwell | ||||
| Midfield/Defender | 5-10 | Grapevine, Texas | Colleyville Heritage | Dallas Sting SC |
“Britt is a great, multi-dimensional player who we think is going to be very good
for the Aggies. As an attacking central-midfielder she helped lead her Colleyville
Heritage high school team to advance all the way to last year's state championship
game (where she faced off against two of our '11 freshmen sensations – Kelley
Monogue and Meghan Streight). Later in the year she played a key role as a central
defender in helping her Sting '95 team win their second consecutive USYS National
Championship. |

| Janae Cousineau | ||||
| Midfield/Defender | 5-11 | San Clemente, Calif. | San Clemente | So Cal Blues |
“Janae is a fantastic signing for Texas A&M. She is the 'total player' whom coaches dream about having on their team. I really think that her ability to do so many things so well has probably made people overlook her for some well-deserved personal accolades. I am so excited to have her on our roster! She has shown to be a great player on the national youth scene, but she's going to be a really great player for Texas A&M.

| Kristi Leonard | ||||
| Forward | 5-6 | League City, Texas | Clear Creek | Space City FC |
“I'm excited about having Kristi at Texas A&M. We've always loved having
talented left-sided players on our team, and she definitely fits that bill. Kristi comes
from a great Aggie family and is the product of a solid soccer culture under the
guidance of Coach Randy Evans at Space City Soccer Club. |

| Karlie Mueller | ||||
| Defender | 5-4 | Sioux Falls, S.D. | Roosevelt | Toro FC |
“Karlie is a very special player who has been positively impactful for her club, high school, and USA Olympic Development Program teams. She is fast, skillful, and has an incredible work rate. I'm sure that she is going to step right into our Aggie soccer culture and quickly succeed. “Karlie is a dedicated player who has the athletic components to positively change the game, and the experience to play many positions on the field. As a club player her family would drive her several hours, three-or-more times a week, from South Dakota to-and-from her training sessions in Omaha, Neb. “We first discovered her while she was playing as a winger for Coach Marcus Kelcher on her Toro FC team in Omaha. I was very impressed with how hard she worked off the ball, and how dangerous she was when she got it. She was constantly creating scoring situations for her team and made a hugely-positive impact on the team's success. Then a few months later, we were just as impressed with her abilities and tactical awareness while she was playing as an outside back for the Midwestern USA ODP team. “She has been a dominating 'personality player' on her past teams and we think she can be an incredible college-level defender, where she can utilize her skills and athletic capacity to relentlessly attack from deep, wide positions.”

| Jackie Tondl | ||||
| Defender | 5-9 | Omaha, Neb. | Marian | Toro FC |
“Jackie is the kind of player that championship teams are built around. She's a
tough, smart leader on the field and a great teammate who will do whatever she
can to help her team win.
