Ten swimmers from the newly-crowned Big 12 Champion Texas A&M women's swimming and diving team were invited to the 2012 NCAA Championships, which will be contested at the Auburn University March 15-17.
Receiving invitations to the national meet were: senior Rita Medrano, juniors Maureen McLaine and Tess Simpson and sophomores Ashley Adams, Cammile Adams, Erica Dittmer, Breeja Larson, Caroline McElhany, Paige Miller and Kim Pavlin.
The Aggies could take as many as 15 student-athletes to the NCAA Championships since five A&M divers will be looking to punch their tickets to nationals at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships March 8-10 at the University of Iowa. The five divers that met zone qualification were: seniors Jaele Patrick, Janie Potvin and Jo Thibodaux, junior Rebecca St. Germain and sophomore Jessica Macauley.
Texas A&M, which finished 10th last season, will be seeking its sixth straight top 10 finish at the NCAA Championships.
