A&M will be looking to extend a school-record 20-meet home win streak, which dates back to the spring of 2009. It marks the first of the final two meets of the regular season for the Aggies, who will also host Baylor next Saturday morning.
Fans in attendance on Friday will have the chance to win one of two $10 gift cards to Cinemark Hollywood USA Theatres. The Brazos County Expo Complex is located at 3827 Leonard Road in Bryan.
Texas A&M (7-2) is looking to rebound after a tough 13-10 loss to Oklahoma State last weekend in Stillwater, one that saw the Aggies claim three of four possible MVP awards.
Kansas State (5-4), meanwhile, has won three straight and four of its last five. The Wildcats have not competed since the last weekend of January, where they picked up wins over Tennessee-Martin and New Mexico State.
A&M leads the all-time series, 13-2, and has won 10 straight against the Wildcats-including an 11-8 win this fall in Manhattan.
The teams will ride six in each of the four disciplines for a total of 24 team points at stake.
Competing over fences for Texas A&M are senior Lia Chafee, juniors Kori Pickett, Kelsi Shevlin and Emily Williams, and freshmen Kat Barkema and Leah Chenelle. On the flat, A&M's lineup will feature Chafee, seniors Maggie Earle, Hannah Soibelman, Elizabeth Solch and Marisa Bernal, and freshman Haley Buchmiller.
The Aggie western lineup will be seniors Katie Lisabeth and Kelsey Adams, juniors Amanda Brightwell, Carey Nowacek and Cassie Mantor, and freshman Molli Jacobs in horsemanship; and seniors Courtney Dawe and Abigail Grabein, juniors Becca Murray and Emma Myers, sophomore Lindsey Bernbaum, and freshman Laura Sumrall in reining.
Scoring updates throughout the show will be provided through the team's official twitter feed at twitter.com/AggieEquestrian and will also be available on aggieathletics.com.
