COLLEGE STATION, Texas - After a win in Hawai'i, the No. 13 Texas A&M women's golf team travels to San Diego for The Battle at Rancho Bernardo Inn Sunday through Tuesday, March 18-20.
The 54-hole tournament takes place at the 72-par, 6,312-yard Championship Golf Course at Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Resort and Spa. Each day of competition features 18 holes with tee times starting as early as 10 a.m. (CT) the first two days and 9:30 a.m. (CT) for the final round.
The Aggies are competing in their third event of the spring and face a tough field that includes No. 16 Arizona, No. 8 Arizona State, No. 19 California, Coastal Carolina, Denver, Long Beach State, Miami, New Mexico, No. 21 Pepperdine, host San Diego State, No. 3 Southern California, Texas, Tulane, UNLV and No. 17 Washington.
Texas A&M will keep the same lineup as in Hawai'i with sophomore Katerina Ruzickova (73.33 stroke average), junior Mary Michael Maggio (75.17), junior Sarah Beth Davis (75.73), freshman Patricia Garcia (76.67) and junior Susy Grunden (78.00). Junior Aly Smith (79.25) will compete as an individual.
