Aggies Head West to Face Pepperdine in Malibu

After the postponement of Tuesday's trip to UH, the Aggies will make their first road trip when they travel west to battle Pepperdine in a three-game series.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - After the postponement of Tuesday's scheduled trip to Houston, the No. 8 Texas A&M baseball team (16-5) will make its first road trip this weekend when it travels to Malibu, Calif., to battle Pepperdine (16-5) in a three-game series at Eddy D. Field Stadium. Game times (Central Time) are set at 5 p.m. for Friday's series opener and 3 p.m. for both Saturday and Sunday's contests.

The Aggies and Waves have met just twice before this weekend, splitting a pair of games in College Station during the Aggie Continental Express Baseball Classic on March 23 & 25, 2002 ... Texas A&M earned a 6-2 victory in first match-up (a seven-inning contest), getting a complete game from pitcher Khalif Ballouli ... Pepperdine evened the series with a 2-0 victory two days later in the tournament's final game ...
