Kastmo, who was celebrating her 21st birthday weekend, hit .446 while averaging 4.44 kills, 3.11 digs and 4.94 points per set in leading A&M to sweeps against Xavier, Delaware and Columbia. The Tyler, Texas, native capped the tournament by posting career highs of 21 kills and 22 points and also completed a double-double with 10 digs as the Aggies swept Columbia, 25-20, 25-19, 25-15.
Mellinger led A&M with 3.38 digs per set and was second on the team with 3.67 kills and 4.06 points per set. With 34 total digs in the tournament, she now ranks 10th in the A&M records for career digs with 1,199.
Sawatzky, who earned all-tournament honors for the second consecutive week, averaged 10.56 assists, 2.22 kills, 2.22 digs and 3.06 points per set.
The Aggies, who won their second consecutive tournament title, improved to 8-1 and have won seven consecutive games as they enter Southeastern Conference play on Friday against Ole Miss. First serve against the Rebels is at 6:30 p.m. at Reed Arena.
