Aug 22, 2012 | Soccer
COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Head Coach G Guerrieri and the No. 14 Texas A&M soccer team will host Soccer 101 for Aggie Soccer Club members on Sept. 1.
The event will take place at the Club at Blue Bell Park from 2-4 p.m. Those wishing to attend should RSVP to AggieSoccerClub@athletics.tamu.edu by Aug. 29.
Members of the Aggie Soccer Club will have a meet-and-greet with the A&M soccer players and staff before the team reviews the completed games and gives attendees an outlook on the upcoming schedule.
The coaching staff will brief Aggie Soccer Club members on the rules of the game and specific A&M training sessions.
"The Aggie Soccer Club is a very special part of the 12th Man Foundation," Guerrieri said. "It's a special and specific booster club, whose members have an intense appreciation and love for the Aggie Soccer program and the great things our players are trying to achieve for Texas A&M.
"The club and its members have been instrumental in providing funds to help make improvements at Ellis Field as well as in the facilities and specialized equipment that our soccer players use every day. Aggie Soccer Club members receive special perks at all our home games and special access to our players and coaches through club receptions and activities. So, being a club member benefits the members and the players alike."
