COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M Softball Head Coach Jo Evans will participate as a panelist in the Carrol O. Buttrill '38 Endowed Fund for Ethics Roundtable, Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Glasscock Building on the A&M campus.
The roundtable, which will focus on ethics in relation to athletics and academics, is free and open to the public, and will be held in the Glasscock Center Library with a reception beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Evans was invited to be one of four panelists who will discuss “Ethics, Athletics and Academics: Institutions, Coaches and Players”. Joining her will be Albright College President Lex O. McMillan III, University of North Carolina Associate Chair of History Jay M. Smith and Texas A&M College of Liberal Arts Senior Director of Development Larry J. Walker Jr.
The Melbern G. Glasscock Center for Humanities Research and the Carrol O. Buttrill '38 Endowed Fund for Ethics promote on-going investigations into ethical questions of significance to the Texas A&M community. The fund supports annual lectures, roundtables, special events, and course activities.
