Tennis Channel to Air 2013 NCAA Championships Highlight Show

The Tennis Channel will air the 2013 NCAA Championships Highlight Show on Saturday, June 8 at 1:30 p.m. CT. The 30-minute program will include footage from Texas A&M's match against Stanford in the women's national championship match.

The Tennis Channel will be airing the 2013 NCAA Championships Highlight Show presented by the USTA on Saturday, June 8 at 1:30 p.m. CT. The 30-minute program will focus on the finalists on both the men's (UCLA and Virginia) and women's (Texas A&M and Stanford) side, but also will include footage from the entire week of team competition at Illinois' Atkins Tennis Center.

Under the direction of second-year head coach Howard Joffe and assistant coach Mark Weaver, the Texas A&M women's tennis team experienced the most successful season in school history, including a first-ever appearance in the NCAA Championship finals, where the Aggies narrowly fell, 4-3, to 17-time national champion Stanford. A&M, which until this year had only once reached the NCAA Championship round of 16, finished the season 26-4, marking the most wins in a season. The Aggies also finished an all-time record-high No. 3 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association final team rankings, obliterating the Aggies' previous highest final showing, a No. 15 ranking in 1986.

The highlight show will be hosted by Scott Treibly, formerly an assistant tennis coach at Texas A&M under previous men's head coach Tim Cass. The show will air a total of five times throughout the month of June. Below is a full listing of the air times for the show.
