COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Head Coach Jo Evans and the Texas A&M softball team announced today the addition of winter skills camps set for Jan. 11-12, 2014.
The camps, split into three hitting clinics and two pitching sessions, will be open to players ages 10-to-18. Attendees will receive instruction from current and former members of the Texas A&M softball team, as well as the Aggies' award-winning coaching staff. The hands-on instruction of the camp is specially designed to improve each aspect of a player's game.
Campers attending a hitting session should bring a bat, batting gloves, a batting helmet, cleats and tennis shoes. Pitchers will need to bring a glove, cleats and tennis shoes, but will not need to bring their own catcher.
To maximize instruction and repetition, spaces are limited so sign up now. Each session will cost $125, and a $25 discount is available to those who register for two clinics. To register, fill out a Winter Skills Camp brochure and mail it in, or go online to AggieAthletics.com/camps and click on Registration.
The Aggies ended the 2013 season at the NCAA Super Regional level with their eighth 40-win season under Evans in the books. To learn more about Texas A&M softball, log on to AggieAthletics.com and follow @AggieSoftball on Twitter.
