COLLEGE STATION, Texas - ESPN released its 2013 NCAA softball broadcast schedule Tuesday, which includes at least two Texas A&M softball games.
The Aggies, in their first season in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), will play a pair of conference matchups in front of a live national audience. A&M's March 23 game at Tennessee will air on ESPNU, while the Aggies' home contest against LSU on April 13 can be seen on ESPN.
In addition to the two regular-season games, the entire SEC tournament, including both play-in games will be broadcast on ESPN networks. ESPNU will air each play-in, quarterfinal and semifinal game, and ESPN2 will pick up the championship game. The SEC Tournament is set for May 8-11 in Lexington, Ky.
ESPN's returning line-up of college softball analysts includes Garland Cooper, Jennie Finch, Cheri Kempf, Jessica Mendoza, Michele Smith, and Aggie All-American Amanda Scarborough with Beth Mowins, Pam Ward, Cara Capuano, Joe Davis, Holly Rowe and Adam Amin on deck bringing the play-by-play each week.
A composite SEC broadcast schedule - which will include games from FOX, CSS, CST and ESPN, will be released at a later date. To learn more about Texas A&M softball, log on to AggieAthletics.com and follow @AggieSoftball on Twitter.
