Cell Phone Service
| Due to the large crowds within Kyle Field and surrounding the tailgating areas, cell service on the Texas A&M campus is limited on football gamedays. We have taken measures to rebalance and redeploy cellular infrastructure ? to include the addition of a COW (cellular on wheels) ? but cellular service continues to be frequently interrupted, particularly in the Fan Zone and areas immediately surrounding the stadium. We recommend that fans use texting as a primary means of communication. We have also found that turning 3G service OFF on your cellular phone will improve the ability to make and receive phone calls. |
