RALEIGH, North Carolina — Torrential rain showers led to the suspension of play during the opening round of the NCAA Raleigh Regional at Lonnie Poole Golf Course Thursday with the Texas A&M men's golf team holding a tie for fourth place at three-under par.
No groups had completed 18 holes when tournament officials decided to delay the resumption of the first round until 10:30 a.m. (CT) Friday morning. Following the conclusion of the opening round, competitors will begin the second round of the 36-hole tournament.
