Texas A&M Equestrian to Hold Open Tryouts

The Texas A&M equestrian team will hold open tryouts on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 6 p.m. at the Thomas G. Hildebrand DVM '56 Equine Complex. Those wishing to join the 11-time national champions for the 2014-15 season must be in attendance.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M equestrian team will hold an open tryouts meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 6 p.m. at the Thomas G. Hildebrand DVM '56 Equine Complex. Those wishing to join the 11-time national champions for the 2014-15 season must be in attendance.

Attendees must be female students, enrolled in at least 12 hours at Texas A&M with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 and need to have advanced training in horsemanship, reining, hunter seat equitation on the flat or hunter seat equitation over fences. Those wishing to tryout should also bring a copy of both the front and back sides of her medical insurance card, and the results of a sickle-cell blood test and physical.
