Krajicek to Play in US Open Doubles

Former Texas A&M men's tennis All-American Austin Krajicek will pair with John-Patrick Smith in the Main Draw of the US Open Doubles held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York.

COLLEGE STATION – Former Texas A&M men's tennis All-American Austin Krajicek will pair with John-Patrick Smith in the Main Draw of the US Open Doubles held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York.

The Bradenton, Florida native featured in the maroon and white from 2008 through 2011, completing his career atop the doubles dual victories charts for A&M and sixth in singles wins.

Krajicek and his partner are set to face a pair of Americans in Bradley Klahn and Tim Smyczek Wednesday. The duo have played together 18 times this year winning 14 times including the ATP Challenger Tour doubles title in Vancouver earlier this month.
