COLLEGE STATION, TX – The Texas A&M Men's Tennis team will kick off the fall season at the Midland Racquet Club Invitational Friday in Midland, TX.
The tournament consists of both singles and doubles competition, each five rounds long. Senior Max Montague, sophomores Max Lunkin and Frankie Colunga and redshirt freshman Jett Cash will represent the Maroon & White in the Tall City.
Colunga will face Mario Muniesa of UT-Arlington and his doubles partner, Lunkin, will take on Tomislav Gregurovic of Wichita State in the first round in singles play. The duo is slated to take on Texas Tech's Nicholas Melott and Carlos DiLaura in the doubles bracket. Montague and Cash will also participate in the doubles bracket and are set to challenge Tulsa's tandem of Carlos Bautista and Matthew Kirby.
The Aggies are coming off of a 2013-2014 campaign in which they went 25-7 and went on to win the SEC Tournament Championship.
