COLLEGE STATION – A pair of Texas A&M men's tennis former stars earned wins at the ITF Cota Mesa Pro Classic over the weekend in Costa Mesa, California. Former All-American Junior Ore earned the doubles title alongside partner Jeremy Nicholas and Jeff Dadamo reached the semi-finals of the singles bracket.
Ore completed his eligibility with Texas A&M last spring, the Maryland native was a part of the SEC Tournament Championship team and was ranked as high as number one in doubles alongside current Texas A&M senior Jackson Withrow. The lefty earned four doubles wins and qualified for a place in the singles bracket after four wins in qualifying draw.
In the semifinals in California Ore dispatched of fellow Aggie Jeff Dadamo en route to the ITF title. Dadamo reached the semifinals of the singles bracket before falling runner-up Dennis Novikov. The Florida native had five wins in southern California, three in singles and a pair in doubles.
