COLLEGE STATION, Texas- The Texas A&M women's basketball team is holding open tryouts for the 2014-15 squad. Interested Texas A&M students must attend a mandatory informational meeting at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24 in the women's basketball film room of the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball.
Information about the tryout and university forms will be disseminated at the meeting, prior to the tryout on October 8. The time for the tryout will be set at a later date. Participants must be full-time Texas A&M students with a valid UIN number and have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.
The Aggies enter 2014-15 ranked as high as fourth in preseason publications. The Aggies return 83% of their scoring from a team that reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament in 2014.
