COLLEGE STATION- Texas A&M has announced additional coverage of several women's basketball games, including three broadcast television games and 10 games that will be digitally exclusive SEC Network + events.
The Nov. 30 home game against Duke is set to tip at 12 p.m. CT in Reed Arena, and marks the women's basketball program's first-ever game on the SEC Network. Both the Aggies and Blue Devils are highly regarded entering the 2014-15 season, with A&M ranked as high as fourth and Duke ranked as high as seventh in early preseason prognostications.
The Aggies' Dec. 7 game at TCU has been picked up by the Big 12's television package for a Fox Sports Net broadcast at 1 p.m. The Horned Frogs are coming off an appearance in the WNIT and are under the direction of first year head coach Raegan Pebley.
Texas A&M's Dec. 29 game at Washington is televised on the Pac 12 Network, with tip time set for 8 p.m. The Huskies reached the quarterfinals of the WNIT in 2014, and are led by head coach Mike Neighbors. The Aggies defeated Washington 74-68 last season in College Station.
In addition, Texas A&M's exhibition game against Oklahoma City (Nov. 8), and remaining home games against Rice (Nov. 19), Prairie View A&M (Nov. 24), McNeese State (Nov. 26), Northwestern State (Dec. 3), Houston (Dec. 13), North Texas (Dec. 31), Vanderbilt (Jan. 2), Auburn (Feb. 1) and Missouri (Feb. 26) are slated as on SEC Network + events. Game times have been finalized for the contests against Vanderbilt (7 p.m.), Auburn (2 p.m.), and Missouri (7 p.m.).
SEC Network + showcases over 550+ digital-only events. SEC Network + is only available through WatchESPN through the WatchESPN app and on SECNetwork.com. Fans must sign in with their credentials from a participating TV provider to access SEC Network +.
The Nov. 14 rematch of the Aggies' 2014 Sweet 16 contest against DePaul has also been picked up for digital broadcast, on the Big East Digital Network, which is available on the Fox Sports GO app and online at FoxSportsGO.com. The Aggies knocked off DePaul 84-65 during the NCAA Tournament's Lincoln Regional.
In total, 25 of the Aggies' 31 scheduled games, including the exhibition game, are currently slated to be available to watch on broadcast television or on digital streaming platforms (such as WatchESPN or Fox Sports GO), with the possibility of more additions in the coming weeks. All potential SEC Tournament and NCAA Tournament games the Aggies could play in will be shown on an ESPN network (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or SEC Network).
