The No. 8 Texas A&M Equestrian team will travel to Bartonville, Texas to take on the SMU Mustangs (1-2) this Saturday, October 4th.
Head Coach Tana McKay looks forward to the challenge of a road meet so early in the season: “We are looking forward to getting a road meet under our belt. It will be a new facility and many new horses we have never seen before so it will be a good test to see where we stand.”
The Aggies are coming off of a decisive 18-2 rout of UT Martin in their first contest of the season. The team took wins in all four events and saw an Aggie earn MOP honors in three (Flat, Fences, and Horsemanship). With the win, the Aggies remain in the top ten with each of the other three SEC schools.
